Deidra Sciacca,President of AFSCME New Jersey Local 3633 License Practical Nurses at the Camden County Health Services (Lakeland) has served as local President for over 20 years. Deidra is a strong advocate for her members and proudly serves as an executive board member for AFSCME Council 71
As a staff representative for the Council 71 members, where she is known as “Dee” and demands respect with her peers as well as her adversaries in the county, municipal and state government employee relations offices throughout the district council.
 An activists to be reckoned with Dee recently attended a rally at Camden County Health Services (Lakeland), which normally would be business as usual, however it is important to point out that Dee has retired from the facility after some 25 years of dedicated service and is serving the limited time remaining on her presidency.
Further, Ms. Sciacca has some serious upper respiratory issues, but thru the brutal 100 degrees in the shade weather and humidity at a record high, there she was screaming stop the unfair treatment of our CNA’s and LPN’s in Camden County Health Facility (Lakeland).  We expect Deidra to be active and out there fighting for the rights of workers and helping to organize the unorganized workers for a long time to come.
It is imperative that we “Stand Up” and salute dedicated, determined and courageous activists like Ms. Deidra “Dee” Sciacca. Thanks to Deidra and other members like her our union the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees is a cornerstone that stands and fights for workers rights and unfair practices.
